Karolinenplatz 4 – what an excellent location right in the heart of the city! That is where the brand new Welcome Hotel Darmstadt is all set to open on December 2007. The 14th hotel to join the Welcome group, the Welcome Hotel Darmstadt together with the adjacent "darmstadtium" science and congress centre will provide superb opportunities for the Conference and Congress sector. The facilities created by the combination of the "darmstadtium", Darmstadt’s technical university, the cultural facilities in and around Karolinenplatz, the park "Herrngarten" and the hotel will be second to none in Germany. The 4-star hotel has 208 rooms providing a total of some 400 beds. The "Herrngarten" restaurant and the "Moller" bistro each of which has a large outdoor patio area serve a wide range of culinary delights. All rooms and suites have floor to ceiling windows ensuring that the accommodation is light and airy throughout. The rooms are furnished in a contemporary style and equipped with air-conditioning, flat screen IP TVs and W-LAN.
