Positive Reviews
positive:
Good Locale, Spacious Rooms.
Clean and tidy, the rooms are lovely (although things may seem a bit close when the fold-out beds are open.) Location is an easy walk to central town attractions and there is plenty of parking. Quiet rooms are usually available for stays booked during large events. The property is undergoing gradual refurbishment of a very decent standard.
positive:
Excellent Staff.
Friendly, polite and cheerful for every interaction, these staff are top of the line! Don't hesitate to call on them if there is anything you need. They are welcoming and thoughtful from arrival to departure.
positive:
Delicious Food.
The quality and presentation of the food here is superb in all venues, and meals from the breakfast buffet through evening dessert are mouth-watering. Locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Excellent value for the buck.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not Like The Pictures.
Some felt their reality did not match the internet version. Hot rooms without air conditioning or fans and plumbing in need of maintenance have been noted, as well as worn mattresses and missing favourite amenities such as mini fridges, safes and mini bars. Small towels, double rooms often have two twin beds pushed together, and hard pillows. The site's original motel setting has been revitalized with some additional elements, but to some it still feels like a motel.
negative:
Poor Shower Pressure.
Don't count on an invigorating morning shower here.

Get To Breakfast Early.
Head down to the buffet as early as possible to avoid disappointing leftover room temperature items.
