Guests were happy that they could easy jump on a bus or walk to the train station from the hotel with many commenting that there were good transport links in and around the area. The central business district and the shopping on Queen Street Mall are only a 30 minute walk from the hotel or seven minutes on the bus.
The apartments were consistently described by guests as really big, huge! and spacious with many commenting that they had ample space to move about in. Guests also really appreciated that car parking was allocated during their stay.
A number of previous guests stayed here because of the hotels proximity to St Andrews Hospital which is just around the corner and many guests were able to visit loved ones or recuperate easily due to the ease of access.
Guests felt that the hotel was showing signs of its age with some commenting that the decor in particular was really out of date and not modern at all. Guests commented that the kitchen and the utensils in the kitchen should recieve the most attention.
Guests with mobility issues and guests who were travelling with a bit of luggage were disappointed that there was no lift beyond floor four to take them to the higher floors - which for some was frustrating as they had to lug themselves and their luggage up the stairs.
Guests who are sensitive to cigarette smoke were not happy with the obviously smell of stale smoke in and around the hotel and their reviews suggested that management be stricter on its enforcement of its no smoking policies.
