Friendly and attentive staff
Previous guests have rated the standard of service here as good, typically describing the owners and staff as friendly and approachable. The staff seems happy to help guests with local area information or, indeed, any issues/questions that may arise.
positive:
Good breakfast
Even those guests who found fault with other areas of the property tend to enjoy breakfast here. You'll be able to choose one of three main dishes as well as help yourself to cereals, toast and drinks. The owner, Mic, seems intent on serving up a good brekkie and is keen to ensure guests are satisfied.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Housekeeping can be improved
Although some guests were perfectly satisfied with the quality of the room they were allocated, others raise concerns about the standard of housekeeping. Reported problems such as thick dust, rubbish bags in appropriate places and stained carpets indicate that the B&B could do much better.
negative:
Maintenance issues
In addition to cleanliness issues, it also seems that a lack of proper maintenance may present some problems. Guests report broken tiles in the bathrooms, missing light bulbs and damp on the walls.
negative:
Dated decor and furnishings
Previous guests have mentioned that they found this B&B quite dated. This may be acceptable if the surroundings were clean and well-maintained but as it doesn't seem like that is the case, the dated decor and furnishings is just another source of disappointment.
