Positive Reviews
positive:
Comprehensive.
Benidorm's Hotel Mediterráneo is a very big establishment that is dedicated to family holidays and offers a good experience for young and old. The staff members were found to be both friendly and courteous, and guests comment that the hotel made them feel really at home.
positive:
Clean and Tasty.
The all round cleanliness of the hotel is impressive, including the grounds and the pool area. The food was both plentiful and very well presented, guests reported that every day there was something that they enjoyed. The breakfast was well liked, with a good choice in the buffet. The provision of private parking was appreciated.
positive:
Well Placed.
The location of the hotel appeals to guests in that it is quiet, not being in the rather frenetic centre of town, but within a convenient walking distance, and similarly placed for the beach. Visitors found Benidorm to be lively, but not out of control, and everyone including the hens and the stags, seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Needs Renewal.
Guests mentioned that the towels in the room, and also at the pool, being rather worn and thin, were not very effective for drying. The pool area was also perceived to be a little “tired”.
negative:
The Race for Places.
Sunbeds were cordoned off and in the morning to prevent early reservation with towels, this gave rise to a race each morning, with the danger of slipping and falling on the damp surface. Those guests who were not on the all-inclusive scheme found the wait for service at the bars tedious.
negative:
Entertainment not Great.
The adult entertainment in the evening did not impress greatly, and many guests preferred to venture into town. The free Wi-Fi provided in the rooms was not very efficient, guests found that when they upgraded to a paid service it worked better.
