Negative Reviews
negative:
Cleanliness needs attention.
The cleanliness of the rooms, and the bathrooms in particular, needs improving. Daily housekeeping is not always provided and at times several days passed before the bathroom was cleaned. Guests also complained of mould in the bathroom and having to pay extra for soap to be provided.
negative:
Minimal breakfast experience.
While breakfast is included in the fee, don’t expect too much. Guests complained that the breakfast selection was limited to just a baguette, butter and jam, and that no plates were provided, just a tray which were not always properly cleaned. Guests recommend to have breakfast at a local bakery or cafe.
negative:
Range of room problems.
Various complaints were made about the dorm rooms, including that the size of the rooms and bathrooms were very small and the beds uncomfortable. Be aware that toilets are not available on every floor. The Wi-Fi did not work reliably and there were not always enough electrical sockets. Air conditioning is not provided and the rooms can be hot and stuffy in summer. Open windows offers some relief, although it is quite a noisy area.
