Positive Reviews
positive:
Easy access to everything
The location of this hotel makes it quite easy for you to get around. The Blackcombe mountains are just two minutes away by foot and there are many shopping and entertainment options nearby by. You won't need to spend money on transport unless you wish to travel further than Whistler itself.
positive:
Great value for money
Whistler Village Inn and Suites offers more than what you would expect for the price they're asking. Some rooms have fully equipped kitchens while others have kitchenette's, meaning you can save even more money on cooking your own food. There are an abundance of facilities available such as the business center, sauna and all-year-round outdoor pool.
positive:
Quiet and comfortable
You won't have a problem getting to sleep at night as the surrounding area is quiet and you won't find any night life right next to the hotel. The suites themselves are well insulated and can keep out a lot of external noises just in case there is an event taking place outside.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Check in and out can be slow
More staff are needed in the reception area during busy times of the day. Guests have had several complaints of a slow check-in and out that is caused by too few staff working at the check-in desk.
negative:
Overpriced paid parking
Although this hotel provides on-site parking, guests do not feel like the additional fee is reasonable. The surrounding area offers much cheaper parking. If guests don't mind a short walk to and from the hotel, this option could save a lot of money.
negative:
Refurbishment needed
Guests have generally enjoyed their stay at Whistler Village Inn and Suites, defining this hotel as comfortable. However, it has not gone unnoticed that the building is in need of a refurbishment. Some of the public areas as well as the suites need furniture and fittings to be replaced.
