Positive Reviews
positive:
Delightful pool area
For a rural property, Gozo Village was said to have a very beautiful and inviting pool terrace. Guests really enjoyed spending their days enjoying the good life, poolside, and even making use of the pool itself for a refreshing dip on those hot Maltese summer days.
positive:
Extra spacious apartments
A large number of guests reported being astonished with the size of their apartment. They were described as having more than enough space for all the guests booked in, so people were less likely to get under each others skin. The private terraces were singled out for being especially large.
positive:
Peaceful and tranquil area
Several guest said they really appreciated the lovely calm and tranquil atmosphere that seemed to pervade the area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Numerous small maintenance issues
Guests mentioned odd maintenance issues that hadn't been addressed. Broken fixtures, a broken ceiling fan etc. While not big issues individually, their cumulative effect was to give the impression that the property was not being properly looked after.
negative:
Lack of air conditioning
Going by guest comments it seems that the lack of air conditioning was a bit of a sore point. While ceiling fans are installed, these could only do so much and guests sorely missed air conditioning on those blazing summer days you can get in Malta.
negative:
No permanent staff on-site
While not mentioned very often, it was reported that there were no permanent staff on-site. Some guests felt that they were checked in and then left to fend for themselves. If they had any questions or concerns it was not easy to bring these to management's attention.
