Central is a lively neighbourhood with many local cafes and restaurants as well as bars and shopping areas. Many attractions within easy walking distance of the hotel including the Man Mo Temple, the Peak sightseeing tram, Hong Kong Park, Government House and the historic Pottinger Street all of which are less than 15-minutes away.

Local construction disturbs the peace
Several guests complained about the noise from local construction on the street which was disturbing which began in the early morning and continued throughout the day. Some guests commented that they should have been informed of this prior to booking, while others felt that the rooms should have been discounted to compensate for the disturbance.

The hotel features a bar with an outdoor terrace, the noise from which has been disturbing to guests, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings when loud music is played. Guests complained that the sound reverberated through to some of the other rooms and floors.
