negative:
Issues with the rooms
A few guests weren't impressed with their rooms. At times there seems to be a problem regulating the temperatures in the rooms, with reports suggesting that the heating system isn't always able to keep guests warm. Also, on occasion, the rooms seem to suffer from unpleasant odours - the hotel management say this is a common issue in Venice and not the fault of their hotel.
negative:
Disappointing breakfast
It seems that the buffet breakfast fails to satisfy some guests who have stayed here. In particular, the scrambled eggs and coffee come in for criticism and there is a general feeling that the quality of the food could be improved and the size of the servings increased.
negative:
Construction work noise
There were some reports of nearby construction noise causing disturbance. It's not clear how long this will last but should only be a temporary issue.
