Courteous, friendly and attentive were just some of the terms reviewers used to describe the personnel they encountered at this motel. Reviewers also said they often experienced a smooth and swift check-in.

Not only were gas stations, roadside eateries and convenience stores nearby, but also this motel was just off US Route 101, enabling hassle-free access to downtown Ventura, beaches, shopping and attractions. Beachgoers loved being within walking distance of San Buenaventura State Beach, less than ten minutes away on foot.

Apart from a few critics who said the bedrooms and bathrooms were rather small, reviewers generally liked the refreshed rooms with their laminate floors and flat-screen TVs. Many guests said the rooms were clean and comfortable enough for a shorter stay and also appreciated the free parking and pets allowed policy. On the whole, visitors thought prices were reasonable and that they got fair value for money.

Extra charges for Wi-Fi access proved unpopular with reviewers. There were also occasional claims that the service was poor, offering sluggish speeds and patchy coverage.
