The hotel’s gardens proved very popular with the guests who enjoyed taking leisurely walks or just simply having a few al-fresco drinks. The outdoor pool also attracted numerous guests who said that relaxing on the comfortable loungers whilst soaking up the rays was the highlight of their stay. Many enjoyed spending time in the cozy and comfortable lounge where complimentary wine and cheese are served every evening.
From the freshly prepared breakfasts through to the evening meals all the food served on the premises has been described as being extremely tasty and of high quality. Guests appreciated the use of locally sourced ingredients as well as the wide range of choice on the menus.
Some guests mentioned that they were able to hear noise including televisions and conversations from the adjoining rooms which prevented some from getting a good night’s sleep. Others remarked that noise from the hallways also kept them awake.
There is no elevator on the premises and guests whose rooms were on the second floor said that they found it tiring climbing the stairs especially when carrying heavy luggage. Some also objected to not being offered help with their suitcases by the front-desk staff.
