Positive Reviews
positive:
Perfectly located for easily exploring Maui
Lahaina Inn puts you right at the water, with ocean views to start and end each day with. It's easy to get to many of the island's popular sites of interest, and to discover hidden gems on your own. If you're looking to see and do a lot, while also having a convenient base, this is a perfect choice.
positive:
Wonderful resort amenities at no extra cost
Guests love that they're able to utilize the sister resort amenities, and that it's included with the cost of staying at this hotel. This doubles the value of choosing this place for lodging, and further enhances the purpose of getting away and relaxing.
positive:
Lovely restaurant and nearby dining
Praise goes to the dining opportunities available to guests, including the onsite restaurant, and the places within close proximity. Good prices, freshly prepared and delicious dishes, and a lovely ambience all come together to create a nice time when getting something to eat.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Staff lacks attention and friendliness
The desk staff unfortunately lacks considerable customer service. They're not as attentive as desired, and don't offer to help carry luggage up or down the stairs. Whereas many hotels have staff that are friendly and always checking in with you, this personnel isn't quite so.
negative:
Small rooms and uncomfortable beds
Rooms are smaller than they seemed, which creates some annoyance and comfortability. The beds are also not cozy, making it difficult to have a peaceful sleep, and to have enough space, if sharing with another person.
negative:
Noisy outside traffic and inside kitchen staff
The garbage trucks and other workers make a lot of noise, and if you're right above the restaurant kitchen, they tend to play loud music, even if it's a typical time for guests to be sleeping.
