La Mer Beachfront will take good care of your, whether you choose to lounge by the pool, or lay on the beach, right across the street. The hotel has a good setup with comfortable loungers, umbrellas and cabanas. Beach towels are provided, complimentary, for convenience.

Guests loved the onsite restaurant. The Pier House serves fresh foods and a good variety of menu items. Breakfast, especially, got a lot of positive reviews. With great food comes great service - guests say they were very pleased with the restaurant staff.

The plumbing is a bit outdated at the hotel. Guests say the water pressure is quite low and the hot water is only available after you've been running the tap for a bit.

Some of the guests complained about poor soundproofing within the rooms, saying they could hear their neighbors quite well. In addition, some of the rooms face the next door restaurant, which has a loud outdoor A/C unit and kept a few guests up at night. A few also complained about the in-room A/C being a bit noisy. If you're a light sleeper, request a quiet room upon reservation and bring earplugs as an added precaution.

Even though the air conditioner worked, it sometimes doesn't cool the room enough, resulting in a stuffy atmosphere. However, most guests didn't have this problem. It's a good idea to double-check the A/C upon check-in, though, so you can switch before you get too comfortable.
