Negative Reviews
negative:
Old amenities require updating.
Reports suggest that many
amenities within the motel are somewhat long in the tooth. Guests point out
that TV sets, carpets, mattresses and air conditioning units are all aging and
in need of updating. Meanwhile, décor and furnishings at the motel are said to
be outdated.
negative:
Noticeable exclusions prove trying.
A number of noticeable
exclusions have negatively impacted guests staying at the motel. Such omissions
include Wi-Fi, in-room refrigerators and an on-site reception (guests have to
check-in at the neighbouring hotel). With the motel being a three-story
building, the absence of an elevator has also proven tricky for less mobile
guests.
negative:
Smell of smoke in non-smoking rooms.
Despite being billed as a 100% non-smoking property, a number of guests have complained that their accommodations smell of stale cigarette smoke. It appears that the no-smoking policy is not strictly enforced.
