Positive Reviews
positive:
Unbeatable central location
Guests liked the location of the hotel for a number if reasons. Firstly it is pretty much in the heart of Lille's historic core, so of course has all the attractions and amenities guests were looking for. Secondly, they mentioned that it was within reasonable walking distance of Lille Station, convenient for those arriving via Eurostar.
positive:
Good budget option
While most guests conceded that the hotel was nothing fancy, and quite typical for its star rating, they went on to add that the room rates reflected this and were actually quite good. Most guests liked that they could get such a great rate at a hotel that was so central and felt they had received good value for money.
positive:
Rooms were exceptionally clean
Guests were very impressed with the cleanliness of their rooms, with many commenting that they were very happy with this aspect, and really no complaints to be found anywhere.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms could do with an update
This was perhaps the most common complaint. Many guests did not cut the hotel a break, saying that even though it was not a luxury hotel, they still expected the rooms to look better than they did.
negative:
Very small rooms
A number of guests found the rooms simply too small for comfort. Going by the reviews, it seems the rooms are about as small as they can be without placing the bed vertically. They would suit guests who spend most of their time out exploring the city
negative:
Difficult parking
Several guests had a hard time accessing the parking when the first arrived. It is a short distance from the hotel, but one must still find ones way to the hotel first to get a ticket, with the problem being there is nowhere to park at the hotel.
