Positive Reviews
positive:
Great customer service
It's fair to say that customer service can be a fleeting concept in hostels. Whilst you may meet an extremely enthusiastic and friendly employee manning the front desk in the morning, you may just as easy run into a fellow worker who's anything but in the evening. The really great thing about this hostel is that they've managed to put together a team that is consistently keen and capable, right across the board; so, unlike many other hostels, you can rest assured you'll always get a good effort - and a smile - from the affable personnel here.
positive:
Interiors are impeccably clean
This hostel does a very good job of reinforcing the image Singapore has of being a ruthlessly clean and efficient place. Honestly, the Fisher BnB's guest rooms and public areas look like they've been cleaned, double-cleaned and then airbrushed to the point of no return, such is the degree to which the proprietors go to keep the place looking mercilessly spick-and-span. Definitely the place to come if you're someone who feels even slightly agitated by the presence of pointless clutter and indiscriminate mess.
positive:
Free breakfast is a treat
The free (that's right free - in Singapore) breakfast may not be comprehensive but, let's face it, you rarely feel like wolfing down a full English first thing in the morning when you're staying somewhere as hot and humid as Singapore!
