Positive Reviews
positive:
Cosy, Clean, and Classic
This is a somewhat basic, homey accommodation with standard, tidy features, a spacious outdoor swimming pool and a charming bar lounge. Within a short walk of town centre, there's parking, free Wi-Fi throughout, and a small home-made informational brochure available for guests describing area attractions. Breakfast is tasty and served up plentifully - the staff is very flexible on cooking and will probably offer to prepare almost anything you like most mornings! The omelettes are outstanding and afternoons find tea and cake offered freely upon occasion. A great value.
positive:
No Frills Rooms
Decent rooms offer good coffee and tea making provisions, simple furnishings and comfy beds.
positive:
Stupendous Staff
Although there are a few mixed reviews, most rave about the staff here as being above and beyond in all departments. No wish goes un-granted with this team! If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask - they won't mind a bit!
Negative Reviews
negative:
A Bit Outdated
A refurb seems to be in order here, ASAP, as carpets are threadbare, decor is worn, wallpaper is peeling, showers have low pressure, and a fresh coat of paint would be an excellent plan throughout.
negative:
Noisy Nights
Some were able to hear their neighbours through the wall until the wee hours and others wished they'd brought their earplugs when groups of workers stayed upstairs from them and rose early (and noisily) for their daily jobs.
negative:
Mixed Reviews on the Wi-Fi
Some raved about their perfect Wi-Fi connection and how much work they were able to finish in their rooms, while others complained it was intermittent and barely useful at all in theirs.
