Negative Reviews
negative:
Cramped quarters
Although many guests of the hotel found the rooms cozy yet comfortable, some guests found the accommodations a little bit on the snug side. If you want to avoid the smaller guestrooms, you may wish to book one of the suites.
negative:
Dated rooms and furnishings
Some former visitors to the Captain's Quarters Resort have mentioned that the hotel is in serious need of an update. Between tattered carpets, old fashioned décor, worn out furniture, and generally dusty, musty rooms, a little bit of rehab could go a long way.
negative:
Coffee makers but no coffee
In a curious twist, a number of guests noted that, while equipped with a fine little coffee maker, the rooms didn't come with any coffee making supplies. While far from a necessity, a little packet of ground coffee, some creamer, and sugar could add a little extra charm to the hotel.
