It was 1967 when Giampiero Allais and his wife Liliana Galliano ushered the Caprice Restaurant, situated between the Lakes of Avigliana; The Great Lake, where in summertime you can enjoy water skiing, rent canoes and small sailboats, and the Little Lake, which is part of the Natural Park of Avigliana. In 2005 the Hotel Caprice was built adjacent to the restaurant. The 10 guestrooms of the Hotel are soundproofed and equipped with plasma TV with satellite connection, internet connection (WI-FI), minibar, safe, private bathroom. Four rooms have a private balcony. Two rooms have bathrooms for the disabled. Half board or full board are on request. Free outdoor parking (not guarded), and parking for a fee are available. Furthermore it is possible to rent bike to make cultural tours in the Old Village of Avigliana, in the Natural Park of the two lakes and along the morainic hill. At a few tens of minutes drive away from the Hotel, you can reach the Sacra of San Michele and the Abbeys of St. Anthony and of Novalesa. The Hotel Caprice is reachable: by car: along the A32 Torino - BardonecchiaFrejus direction, exit Avigliana East, following signs for Giaveno-Avigliana Lakes (SP 589). by train: Avigliana station (5 km away from the Hotel, reachable by bus or taxi); by plane: airport of Caselle“Sandro Pertini” (38 km away from the Hotel).
