Hotel Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea (Carlsbad, USA)

Placing residents within walking distance of Carlsbad State Beach, guests will enjoy some fun-in-the-sun while spending quality time with family and friends. Not up for the beach, then enjoy the short commute to attractions such as Legoland and the Sealife Aquarium. In addition, the hotel is a brief walk from several dining opportunities.

While the hotel is a little dated, guests still had positive things to say about their stay. The suites were very spacious and accommodating to families on vacation. The amenities provided and location to the beach and theme parks made this hotel the ideal place to stay.

The staff at Ramada Carlsbad is very helpful and accommodating. From the moment you walk into the hotel, staff members will check you in quickly and help you get settled into the suite. Staff will go out of their way to provide directions to the various theme parks and suggest the areas best restaurants.

There seemed to be fruit flies in the kitchen area congregated around the wet, wood smell. In addition, guests reported finding other unidentified bugs throughout the hotel room. This made for a very uncomfortable stay.

Prior guests have reported their dismay of the filthy conditions of this Ramada Carlsbad. Dirty, musty carpets and cigarette butts and trash in the hallways of the hotel were observed by prior guests. These are just a few of the guest complaints about the deplorable conditions of this Ramada.

While the hotel advertises the convenience of a whirlpool, it is very inconvenient for guests when it is not working correctly. In addition, guests reported that both of the ice machines on their floor were inoperable as well. The manager was made aware of these issues.
