Guests loved the pool area, tropical gardens and fitness facilities at the hotel. Access to the gym is free and signing up gives you a discount at the restaurants. The gym facilities include a variety of equipment, free weighs, personal trainers and fitness classes. After a good workout, rest and relax in the sauna and steam room or visit the spa for a massage.

The breakfast buffet served daily has a huge variety of foods to suit everyone's taste buds. Guests say it's absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is casual and typical Costa Rica style. Service does not disappoint.

The rooms are spacious, with a tropical resort ambiance. You will find lots of amenities you normally wouldn't receive at other hotels, like a scale and electronic suit press. If you'd like to splurge, guests recommend getting a room with a balcony, saying that the view I worth the upgrade. The Club Premium rooms get even more compliments. With the booking you receive automatic late check-out and access to the lounge which has complimentary drinks and snacks every day.

The Wi-Fi is complimentary but can be slow at times. Signal coverage is patchy throughout the hotel.

While the breakfasts, both food and service, gets great reviews, the rest of the dining options are mediocre. Guests thought the food wasn't as high in quality or taste. The menus at some restaurants were considered limited. Generally, guests say the service is slower than they're used to and the waiters don't pay enough attention. Room service also was reported to take a long time for delivery.

The hotel is close to downtown but far enough from the city noise. Unfortunately, it is not walking distance and finding public transportation is difficult. It is recommended you have your own car to get around. If not, there are taxis always available to get you around for a fair price.
