Balciuin is a small, friendly B&B situated on the edge of Nethy Bridge deep in The Cairngorm National Park. The wild section of the garden extends to The River Nethy. All the rooms boast spectacular views across The Abernethy Forest to The Cairngorm Mountains. The centre of the village is one mile away and can be accessed not only by road but also by a riverside path or by a slightly longer walk through the forest. Food is available at the excellent Nethy Cafe, the Golf Club and The Nethybridge Hotel. The latter offers evening meals in addition to the fine dining at The Mountview Hotel. There are plenty of other good restaurants in Boat of Garten, Grantown on Spey and Aviemore. All the bedrooms are en-suite with new, comfortable, quality beds, free Wi-Fi, hospitality trays, flat screen TV's with DVD players and a selection of DVD's, USB ports, a sitting area, hairdryer and room controlled heating. I like to make my guests welcome and whenever possible offer tea, coffee and cakes on arrival along with local information. Complimentary full Scottish breakfasts are tailored to individual preferences and served in the lovely sunroom which takes full advantage of the amazing scenery.
