Positive Reviews
positive:
Terrific location for beach and nightlife
The location was said to be perfect for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it was mentioned that the apartments were right in the restaurant and nightlife district. So guest's barley needed to walk more than a hundred yards in any direction to find great bars and places to eat. Secondly, it was very close to the beach for when they felt like some fun in the sun and sand.
positive:
Very clean
Guests were generally impressed with the apartments, with few complaints that they were not what they expected. One thing they specifically complimented was the standard of cleaning, which they rated as excellent.
positive:
Helpful staff
Although they were located at another property, guests never felt as if they were being ignored by the staff. They seemed more than willing to assist guests staying at Globus.
Negative Reviews
negative:
In a bit of a noisy neighbourhood
This was maybe the most commonly voiced complaint. The hotel is in the nightlife district, and the streets outside are loud almost until sunrise. But many felt that this was a small price to pay to be in such a central spot, and advised others to simply bring earplugs.
negative:
Very difficult to find
The apartments appear to be located in a marrow alley, and many guests initially had difficulty finding the building. Check in is at a nearby building which was said to be a little easier to find, but of course guests still needed to make their way to Globus on their own after checking in.
negative:
Not much natural light
This was surprisingly common observation. The apartment building is on a narrow street set among many other similar size buildings. The result is that its rooms do not seem to receive much natural light, creating a bit of a gloomy atmosphere.
