A red -intermediate- ski slope passes at the chalet. This slope leads towards the chair lift of Les Masses, which is part of the ski area Les Collons/Les Masses - 4 Vallées - Verbier. To ski back to the chalet, you just take this red slope. By car, the distance to Les Collons Centre is about 1,5 km. There you find a small supermarket, shops, restaurants, bank, post office, ski rental and ski school. Indoor swimming pool and kindergarden (from 18 month on) in Thyon 2000, ~ 6 km. Two descents begin at the top station of the Etherolla chair lift, connecting up in Thyon 2000 with a third route taking bikers from Thyon to Les Collons or Veysonnaz. Like in many places in the Valais, in Les Collons you can walk with no great differences in altitude along the "Suonen" (historic irrigation channels). For a change, you can also go riding, climbing, paragliding or bowling.
