The hotel displays a level of cleanliness that will set your mind at ease. You'll find your room to be spotless and well sized. There is a desk too, which is good if you have to get some work done.
The service at breakfast is good and the food really tasty. It's nicely cooked and hot.
The complimentary Wi-Fi at Ely House is rather on the slow side. It doesn't drop out often and getting online is easy enough, it just takes an age to load pages once you're connected, which can be frustrating.
The hotel does get a bit cold at times, especially if you aren't visiting in summertime, so pack a few extra warm garments just in case.
The beds here are a little old and worn. They aren't by any means unbearable but could probably use an upgrade.
