The meeting place of Zurich since 1902 has been completely renovated and reopened in in 2022 as a 4 star Boitique Hotel with 78 rooms & suites. In the middle of the former centre of the European silk industry, where people have been meeting for over hundred years, you can now enjoy an uncomplicated and stylish living, in a stimulating atmosphere. A total of 78 boutique rooms are available for both short and long stays. The lovingly designed details are reminiscent of the former importance of silk for the city. For breakfast, hotel guests as well as external guests are served selected products from local and regional partners. At lunchtime and in the evening, honest, innovative, and surprising cuisine is celebrated over an open fire in the Enja restaurant and in the green inner courtyard. In the foyer of the hotel Seidenhof, the café-bar is a lively meeting place that invites guests to enjoy exiting encounters over coffee or aperitifs throughout the day.
Sorell Hotel Rütli's buffet breakfasts proved to be very popular for their tasty, premium ingredients sourced from the area and the wide array of goodies on offer — as well as for the fact that the coffee was excellent. Furthermore, the staff was thought to be highly hospitable, from the efficient but friendly check-in, to courteous, accommodating conduct all round.
The centrality of this hotel was thought to be fantastic and guests said they were placed for getting around the city, thanks to their proximity to the Zürich Central Station, trams and the polybahn.
