About Rose Hip Hill Farm

Near the main road, beautiful view, nice accommodation, fresh food, good price. On the road between Aleșd and Zalău, on top of the hill you can find our cozy pension transformed from a traditional slovak two-room house with a few touches for comfort. The windows will show you the panorama of the Barcău river valley and the winding roads will woo you to grab your bike, walking stick or motorcycle. Suitable to just spend some time in nature, enjoy some traditional foods and quiet. Nice slope for sledging, in the right season. Perfect also for just one night’s rest, if you are on a longer journey, but do not wish to be side-tracked. The house has two bedrooms, each with a bathroom, a fully fitted kitchenette and a dining/living room. Each room is suitable for 4+1. Connectivity to the world is assured by free wifi. Spacious parking is available also, free of charge. We have a fresh-food bistro on sight as well as a cozy restaurant (Huta Slavia) withing walking distance. Nearby cities are Oradea (60 km), Cluj (130 km), Zalau (60 km), each having a historic as well as a modern relaxing and shopping appeal to it.
