A beautifully run and maintained B&B.
This place oozes character and is lovingly cared for by the owners who couldn't be more helpful to visiting tourists ... who haven't a clue where anything is!

The rooms are attractively decorated and the bed is really comfy. Little extras include really nice toiletries which are a cut above what you might reasonably expect. There's even optional piped music for bathroom relaxation, plus some complimentary red wine and (naturally) some Belgian chocolates. Cheers!
Bruges is quite small anyway so it's no major effort to wander around the city centre, canals and shops. The garage, for parking, is a very short walk away and the cost is more than reasonable.
The owners are lovely … if a bit illusive! It seems that they run several businesses and live off-site. Consequently, after arrival, it's likely that you won't see anyone, so there's nobody to talk to in the event of a problem and no-one to wish you goodbye when you leave. There's a coffee machine in the lobby which doesn't work and there's no clear indication where breakfast is served - so some guests miss out completely.
You enter one bedroom via the bathroom and the other is divided from the living room by a net curtain. The accommodation is in a completely separate building to the B&B and during the day, you enter via a shop. Takes some getting used to.
These canals attract many thousands of tourists … and millions and millions of midges and insects!
